The Loving Circles trip to Maui was a life-changing experience for me. The setting was incredible,
the participants were engaged, supportive, and loving, and the group sessions and planned activities
were phenomenal. David, Jacquie, and Ken created a unique environment that allowed me to expand
beyond my wildest expectations. I will definitely be going again in 2006.

The Loving Circles retreat has allowed me to further gain insight and practical experience in the area of personal inter-relationship. I learned the value of speaking authentically, and honestly, without fear of consequences. Such integrity and courage is essential if we are to make a difference for those around us. I had such a wonderful time with all of you. It was so wonderful to feel so connected to so many people.
As I'm telling people about my 9 days in Maui the very best things that I can describe are the unconditional
love and support that existed among all of us and the unexpected and wonderful experiences that David arranged.
I have come back to Calgary feeling so alive and so ready to be me and to reveal myself to those that I care
about. Thank you all for being there for me and for each other and for being willing to show so much of
yourselves to me. I can not truly tell any of you how much it meant to me and how much it is changing my life.

Once again let me say what a remarkable experience it was to spend a week with you and the others in Maui.
And congratulations on going ahead already with a reprise in April!
Promoting it will be something of a challenge, I'm guessing! I mean, how do you describe a vacation
that includes beautiful accommodations, sumptuous food, great companions, intimately-knowledgeable
guides, tours of some of the island's best-kept secrets, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences with a
number of fascinating locals? And, on top of that, a truly remarkable experiential personal-growth
workshop, into the bargain!
Forget telling people that we not only had a lot of good times together but we also wept, and raged,
and challenged, and disagreed out loud with each other, and still came home not only good friends but
even more excited than ever about being together again and very, very close, like family - they'll tell
you it doesn't work that way.
And you can't let it slip that the personal growth element of the trip is actually the main event. They'll
never believe it. No one in their right mind would ever sign up for something like that!
You can't tell them about the incredible beauty and energy of Spyglass House and its grounds and the fact
that we had it all to ourselves - they'll accuse you of embellishing.
Don't tell anyone that we not only met, but spent an amazing amount of quality time with Dolphin Dave,
Windcloud, Will & Kalima, Nicolas and his drumming group - they'll think you're just wanna-be's.
Don't tell about the dancing, the partying, the hot tubbing, the sheer ubiquity of affection and intimacy,
all without alcohol, drugs or enmeshment - they'll think you're delusional. You'll lose credibility.
So, I don't know - probably your best bet is to tell anyone who asks, "Sorry I can't tell you much about
it - if I did, you'd never believe me!"...

Jacquie, David, Ken and Tracy;
What an incredible evening on Monday night. I don't know what has
happened however, this morning when I woke up, I felt different.
When I first closed my eyes last night and "thought" about miracles and
if anything was possible what miracle would I like, simple mind thoughts
disappeared and what came to me was a huge feeling of gratitude and love
and compassion. Last Fall when I started the Monday night meditations
it was a means for me to meet people, explore the spiritual side of my
being and connect with the mind, body and spirit with an open heart
